Singapore attractions

Gardens by the Bay

This futuristic green space is famous for its massive Supertree Grove, vertical gardens that are spectacular both during the day and during the evening light show. The park also houses two massive climate-controlled conservatories: the Cloud Forest (featuring a huge indoor waterfall) and the Flower Dome. Gardens by the Bay showcases Singapore’s dedication to integrating nature seamlessly into its urban landscape.

Marina Bay Sands (MBS)

The iconic integrated resort is instantly recognizable by its three hotel towers topped by the massive Sands SkyPark, which resembles a ship. While the famous infinity pool is exclusive to hotel guests, visitors can access the observation deck for unparalleled 360-degree views of the entire city. The complex also features high-end shopping, a casino, and the ArtScience Museum.

Merlion Park

Located on the waterfront, this park is home to Singapore's official mascot: the half-lion, half-fish Merlion statue, which spouts water into Marina Bay. The statue is a mandatory photo stop for tourists and symbolizes Singapore's humble origins as a fishing village (Temasek) and its current name (Singapura, or Lion City). It offers one of the best vantage points for photographing the Marina Bay Sands skyline.

Sentosa Island

Easily accessible from the mainland, Sentosa is Singapore's dedicated resort and leisure island, often considered a full-day destination. It is home to world-class attractions, including Universal Studios Singapore, S.E.A. Aquarium, beautiful beaches, and various adventure parks. You can reach the island via cable car, monorail, or a dedicated pedestrian boardwalk.

Singapore Zoo & Night Safari

The Singapore Zoo is widely recognized as one of the best in the world for its open-concept habitats and focus on conservation. Adjacent to the zoo is the world-famous Night Safari, the first nocturnal wildlife park, which allows visitors to observe animals active after dark. Both parks offer unique, educational, and family-friendly experiences well worth the trip outside the main city center.

Jewel Changi Airport

More than just an airport terminal, the Jewel is a massive lifestyle and retail complex that has become a major tourist attraction in its own right. Its centerpiece is the magnificent Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, surrounded by the lush Shiseido Forest Valley. Visitors can spend hours here enjoying the unique architecture, retail stores, and various attractions even if they are not catching a flight.
