Where Friendship Became a Way to Travel

EternaLink was never born in a boardroom. It began decades ago with a group of college friends, modest means, big dreams, and an unshakable bond. Long before boarding passes and passport stamps, our journeys started in everyday moments—over shared meals, endless conversations, and laughter that needed no reason.

Nearly 40 years ago, during our college days, ordering food at any restaurant felt more like a strategic operation than a casual choice—every decision carefully calculated to stretch limited budgets while keeping spirits high. Money was always short, but imagination wasn’t. Ordering battoora without curry wasn’t a compromise—it was strategy. The extra ₹2 mattered, so we happily survived on free refills of chutney and sambar, proudly calling it the “diet version.” What we lacked in money, we more than made up for in friendship. Lunches were always memorable. One generous friend would order chicken fry with porotta, while the rest of us made the most of porotta soaked in shared gravy. On leaner days, we went for egg roast without eggs—just the onion gravy, cheaper and, in our minds, just as satisfying. And honestly, when shared with laughter, it truly was.

Those days were filled with small trips, occasional celebrations, endless stories, and memories that still bring smiles today.

Time Passed. Friendship Didn't

Life, as it does, moved on. Careers began. Families grew. Some of us moved across cities, others across continents. But no matter the distance, the bond never faded. Every homecoming meant a reunion—same jokes, same warmth, as if no time had passed at all.

Our friendships ran so deep that some of us even chose jobs or started businesses just to remain close. Amid all the changes, one tradition remained untouched: travelling together at least once every year. What started as short local getaways soon evolved into international adventures—each trip reaffirming what we always knew: friendship and travel belong together.

From Shared Journeys to a Shared Purpose

As we edge closer to retirement—though our hearts are still curious and restless 😄—we realised something important. Travel had always been more than movement for us. It was how we stayed connected, how we celebrated life, and how memories were made.

That realisation led to a simple but powerful idea: why not create something that helps others travel the same way we always have?
