Nepal

Where the Himalaya stops being a picture and starts being the view from breakfast

7–14 days
Best: October–November, March–May
Groups: 4–25

Why Nepal?

Nepal fits an enormous amount of country into a small space. Kathmandu Valley alone has seven UNESCO sites within a 30-minute drive of each other. Pokhara sits under the Annapurna range and lets you glimpse serious Himalaya without a trek. And if you do want the trek — Poon Hill (easy), Annapurna Base Camp (moderate), Everest Base Camp (serious), or Manaslu (remote) — Nepal is where the world's best trekking infrastructure and the world's best mountains meet. Add tigers and rhinos in Chitwan for the safari day, and you have a genuine bucket-list country.

Plan this trip your way

Every EternaLink trip is built from scratch for your group. What that means in practice:

Custom itinerary — pacing, pauses, and priorities designed around you
Vetted local partners — the same on-ground teams we've worked with for years
24/7 support on trip — one person, one number, one WhatsApp thread
Flight, visa, and insurance handled — you show up, we've done the rest
Transparent pricing — no surprise "optional excursions" mid-trip

First conversation is free. No commitment, no pressure.

Quick Tips

  • October–November is the best mountain-view window; March–May a close second
  • Non-trekkers: Kathmandu + Pokhara + Chitwan in 7 days is a fantastic loop
  • Book domestic flights (Kathmandu–Pokhara/Lukla) with wide buffers — mountain weather delays are normal

Experiences we can build in

1

Everest scenic mountain flight (1 hour, no trekking, incredible views) for groups short on time

2

Cooking class with a Newari family in Bhaktapur

3

Sunrise at Sarangkot with breakfast

4

Ethical wildlife safari in Chitwan (canoe + jeep + walking)

Good to know

Visa

Indian passport holders do not need a visa for Nepal — a valid photo ID (passport preferred) is enough. Easiest entry in Asia.

Currency

Nepalese Rupee (NPR). Indian Rupees are also accepted in many places (but not INR 500/2000 notes officially — carry smaller denominations).

Language

Nepali; English widely spoken in trekking areas.

Getting there

Direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai to Kathmandu (~1.5–3 hrs).

Altitude

Any trek above 3,500 m needs acclimatisation days. We build these in properly.
